Hello everyone! March is almost over and hopefully everyone’s ready for April and the second quarter of the year. In Japan, it’s officially Spring and the start of a new school year and new fiscal year for most companies. It signifies “new beginnings” so it’s a very exciting period.

I myself, am excited because today, I’m finally getting off the IV — freedom! Yey! But, it will also mean that belly tightening, Braxton Hicks or even actual contractions may start, and I might go into labor any day from now. So I’m excited about the freedom, but also worried about what will happen next because I don’t like pain. Even this past few days, with muscle loss, a huge belly, and the baby positioned quite low, it’s been painful already just getting up or even changing lying positions, so anything that falls on the floor is dead to me! Except for my phone and earphones. Lol!

So due to how uncertain my condition will be without the IV, I have decided to take a short break from blogging, and concentrate on easing myself through the impending pains til I go on labor. I do feel that since I only started my blog in February, it doesn’t seem right to take a break this early, but with my new circumstance, I just have to. I also thought it’s better to let you all know ahead of time, than all of a sudden stop posting because I’m not able to write due to the pains, or because I already had gone into labor.

I will surely come back once my baby and I are out of the hospital, and I’m actually excited to share that news on my coming-back post! I am hoping for, and would very much appreciate, your continued support during my break and after I come back.

Please wish me luck, and hope that I will have a painless labor. (If that’s even possible since they don’t do epidural at this hospital.) Have a wonderful start of the second quarter and see you all again soon!
